212 #21

212 is a biannual magazine based out of Istanbul, published and distributed internationally.

It contains short fiction and long-form reportage; distinctive photo essays and revealing interviews.

Issue 21 / Dear John (Spring/Summer 2026)

Issue 21 of 212 takes its title from the farewell letter — that older, slower act of putting feelings into words and sending them away — and uses it as a frame for thinking about how we address our own moment. 'Dear John' is part reckoning, part introspection, and part search for a different register in which to talk to the present.

212 is a semi-annual, large-format magazine that approaches its themes through interviews with creative practitioners across disciplines. The result is more essay collection than monthly title: closer in feel to a book than a magazine, and a useful counterweight to the faster cycle of the rest of the fashion-and-culture shelf

Please note that magazine covers cannot be specified at the time of the order. However, you can indicate your preferred cover in the order notes at checkout.

If the cover you prefer is available, we will do our best to send it. If the cover you specify is the only one you are willing to accept,  please indicate this clearly in your order notes. Otherwise, we will consider it as a preference and will send a cover based on availability.
